Building high-scale enterprise systems is my day job, but solving real-world, grassroots coordination challenges is where the passion for product development truly thrives. Camp Planner was born out of a practical need to replace messy spreadsheets, scattered group chats, and fragmented logistics with a single, elegant mobile solution.
Designed for organization leaders, coordinators, and teams, Camp Planner streamlines the entire outdoor event lifecycle:
- Dynamic Roster & Role Management: Seamlessly track participants, custom ranks, and operational assignments.
- Automated Duty Rosters: Take the friction out of assigning responsibilities (like meal prep and cleanup crews).
- End-to-End Itinerary Planning: Keep everyone aligned with precise event schedules, duration tracking, and participant mapping.

Architecting this app from the ground up gave me a fantastic opportunity to dive deep into optimizing the mobile UX, implementing rigid offline data integrity, and designing a highly flexible, dynamic settings architecture that adapts entirely to the user’s organizational vocabulary.
